President Donald Trump posted the game-winning putt that clinched what he claims to be his “36th club championship.”
Last weekend, the 79-year-old Donald Trump won the 2025 Men’s Senior Club Championship at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The White House posted a photo of the scorecard, claiming he shot a gross 69 and a net 67 to win the tournament.
But some fans are skeptical about the legitimacy of Trump’s victory. The President and his caddie were caught blatantly cheating, with the latter dropping a golf ball out of nowhere on the green.
Legendary sportswriter Rick Reilly has also exposed Donald Trump for lying about golf tournament victories that never happened. For instance, his West Palm Beach course says Trump won a tournament in 1999…before the course even opened.
Another caddy caught dropping a golf ball for Trump. This time it was at Bedminster.

Who knows how legitimate that victory is, considering that Trump and honesty don’t go together during golf.

July 20 marked six months since Trump was sworn in for a second term as President of the United States. He became just the second U.S. president (and the first since Grover Cleveland) to serve two non-consecutive terms, as well as the oldest POTUS to begin a term in office (78 years, 220 days).
The aforementioned Rick Reilly published a book, Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, in 2019. The book outlines several instances of Trump cheating on the greens, thanks to the help of his caddies.
For instance, NBC Sports commentator Mike Tirico claimed that he once hit a beautiful shot onto the green during a round against Trump. Afterward, Trump’s caddie went up to Tirico and said that he saw Trump take the ball off the green and throw it into a nearby bunker.
